COWS AND SAINTS From July 3rd to 24th, 2014, along with David Kaseno from our church, the two of us were blessed to travel as pilgrims to the Carpathian Mountains. This presentation is the story of the roots of our faith that we discovered there. |
ROOTS By the Spring of 2014 an almost mystical chain of events deepened my conviction of the power of our spiritual roots, and from my old sketchbooks I created this request for prayers for a 2014 summer pilgrimage to Carpathia. |
THE TABLES WE TRAVELED TO… In January and February of 2014 we escaped the brutal weather to bask in 64 days of travel in Europe thanks to the Eurail passes that so many of you helped us win. We stayed 50 nights with friends, 8 nights in Monasteries, 5 nights in hotels, and one night in the airplane. This presentation depicts the tables we traveled to. |

PRAISE THE LORD! I’M GOING AGAIN! In 2012 I turned 80: My long life had been blessed with travel. I first sailed to Europe in 1954. That was 58 years earlier. Now with such old age I feared my traveling days were done, but then an amazing set of things came together. This presentation is the way I announced my marvelous trip of July 2012. |
